OUR VISION
African Unity is no longer an option;
it is a necessity.
From the founding of the African Union Organization (AUO) in 1963 in Addis Ababa to the advent of the African Union (AU) in 2002, the road toward integration has been a long one. While decolonization and the end of apartheid were historic victories, it must be acknowledged that, after 24 years of the AU's existence, the economic and security record remains disappointing.
African integration can no longer remain a mirage. Despite treaties and rhetoric, the reality on the ground is stark: borders remain closed, a common currency is absent, and the African citizen remains a stranger on their own continent.
It is to break this status quo that I founded African United Authority Watch Inc. Our mission is to move the African Union from theory to practice.
Our Key Areas of Focus:
- Treaty Enforcement: We do not call for new agreements; we demand the implementation of those already signed. We serve as the watchdog ensuring compliance with the commitments made by our Heads of State.
- Genuine Freedom of Movement: We advocate for the effective implementation of the single African passport and the dismantling of border barriers to unlock the potential of our youth.
- Integration Audits: Through our Treaty Observatory, we monitor the implementation of the AfCFTA and transport protocols, publishing uncompromising reports on each Member State.
- The Citizen's Voice: We intervene directly whenever freedom of movement rights are violated, asserting the primacy of continental law over arbitrary local practices.
Our Goal: Toward the United States of Africa
Inspired by the success of the European Union and the United States of America, we strive for Shared Sovereignty. An Africa where borders are no longer obstacles but bridges—protected by a single currency and a respected transcontinental justice system.
African United Authority Watch Inc. is the instrument of this radical transformation. Together, let us make African unity the true driving force behind our dignity and prosperity—for a United, Prosperous, and Sovereign Africa.
